TRADITIONAL MARITIME SKILLS: VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
One of the main components of the 2 Seas project Traditional Maritime Skills was recording and spreading skills and techniques used in the restoration of historic ships, with the aim of contributing to the preservation of the required knowledge.
All recorded techniques and skills are published in detail on the project’s website in a Virtual Learning Environment. This includes written explanations, videos and pictures.

Must be your fault. I was able to understand it without any problems.
I just love the old clinker design with their lapstrake construction of these old traditional boats. They have such character and beauty about them compared to fiberglass boats and the modern boats of today. These boats will never lose their rich appeal to me, they just won't to others as well, people love them from every nation. Mainly because their all part of our history, its just that simple.
Thank you for sharing your videos, some very good knowledge, I’m certainly learning some very good points and techniques on building awesome little boats like this one.

lovely, my dad was a wooden boat builder and such a shame he passed away before I got to learn all these amazing skills, hope your drill does not break using it as a dolly!!
